Story
Why hello there,
You're probably wondering why I have gathered you here today...The reason is that I have *willfully* decided to take on the 25000spins Queenstown Classic. I know I am the image of health and fitness and a 300km bike ride doesn't seem like that much of a challenge for a athlete as athletic as myself.
So to make this more challenging to myself I will be riding with the slow group to show my great levels of self control in refusing to leave everyone behind in my dust.
I will also be riding to help raise funds for a great charity ADRA New Zealand to enable them to further help throughout Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The money raised could help provide some of the poorest families in Southeast Asia with a cow to raise or provide save drinking water to a village in Vanuatu. By sponsoring me to take on the Crown ranges in the Queenstown classic you will be giving life to the families that ADRA helps to live life in full colour.
I am going to be raising at least $10,001 to help ADRA NZ and to incentivise you even more I will be willing to commit some crazy challenges along the way if I hit my fundraising goals...I don't know why I am commiting to these...
I am looking for a list of challenges to complete for every donation of over $1000 so suggestions would be great...
If I reach $1000 I will do the ride in Lycra, Colour TBC
If I reach $5000 I will wear my orange and purple cycling gear on my flight down to Queenstown
If I reach $10,001 I am still working on something worthy of such a fundraising effort!
FOR EVERY $10 DONATED I WILL RIDE 1KM IN TRAINING!
