Story
Hi there,
I have decided to do the 25000 Spins Queenstown Classic Cycle Ride to raise funds for the programmes that ADRA see as "Life Changing" for so many people.
We see each day that there are things that we feel should change but we ask ourselves "How do we do this?'" One of the ways is to increase the funds of ADRA so that by working towards better development we can help communities with not only water and sanitation but what about helping people start a busines, grow a crop, establish a herd or take part in an education programme?
These are practical ways to help especially with overseas programmes but on our own doorstep we see children being harmed, addictions taking over lives and parents struggling to raise healthy children.
What can we do here?
ADRA organise parenting classes, budgeting and financial management classes and lots of programmes that strengthen family relationships by education and mentoring. This way all age groups benefit and communities can grow into healthy and sustainable units.
ADRA need your help and I am prepared to put all of my efforts into this ride and would love you to either join with me in taking part or to sponsor me. By taking part in this fantasic event you will enjoy great scenery and have a great time but most importantly you will be a part of "making change" in this world.
